In the heart of Doolin and at the Foot of the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Hostel and Coffee Shop is at the begining of Fisher Street, within walking distance of all Restaurants and Irish Music Pubs. We are the ideal base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Doolin Cave, Aran Islands and a great base to explore the west Atlantic Coast to name but a few. We specialize in providing for outdoor enthusiast from novice weekend warriors to expert rock climbers and surfers. We cater for explorers of all ages, adventurers, families and groups. We believe in a good nights sleep on hotel quality beds, a hot shower in the morning with a great cup of barista coffee the way you like it, and a hearty breakfast with home baking to set you up for your day of endless activities and adventure that awaits you in Doolin, Co. Clare.

Returning in the evening to a friendly chat over a simple freshly prepared meal in our coffee shop or by your own fair hand in our large self catering kitchen with our little shop onsite with all the essentials on hand for your feast. Then off to the local pubs, famous for their traditional Irish music and pints of Guinness to recant your adventures and to plan your next one.

Operated by Anthony and Deirdre Moloney who have returned home to Doolin after many years of international hospitality management. To renovated and apply their experiences to the family business of 30 years. After major renovations Nov-Mar 2012 including new dormer windows, deluxe bedrooms, coffee shop, gardens outdoor terrace, drying room etc. We aim to provide a comfortable relaxed friendly hostel, with excellent service and strive to continuely improve adding new services and products in the months and years to come with a focus on local produce and environmental ethos.

We are the nearest Hostel to Cliffs of Moher with the coastal walking trail starting 200 meters from our door steps and is the best way to experience the beauty of the Cliffs. O Connors Pub with live Irish Music Nightly is 100 meters, Doolin Ferries to Aran Islands & Cliffs of Moher Cruises is a 15 minute walk. We are the ideal location for exploring the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands and much more hidden gems which we will tell you about when you arrive.
